Astro A10 Gaming Headset Final Thoughts After Extensive Use

The Astro Gaming A10 headset is by far one of the best budget gaming headsets out there. The comfort is pretty high-up there, with the only notable temporary discomfort being the headband. However, after a few minutes of wearing the headset, the discomfort goes away. The headset is bassy, as expected, but still has decent sound quality and an AMAZING soundstage. After putting on the headset for the first time after putting down my HD600, I could tell there was a huge difference in the soundstaging of the headset. Granted, the HD600 does not have THE BEST soundstage, so that could be a possible reason as to why the soundstage felt so amazing. I said that I would try to get a microphone recording, but I couldn’t figure out how to get it on here, so my apologies. Regardless of that, I must say that the microphone was awesome for the price of the headset and oftentimes excluded minor sounds in the background. However, if you are going to be using this to record something like a commentary or a more demanding audio task, you should probably upgrade, as the microphone is not amazing enough to be a main microphone in a more professional scenario. And that’s it for now! I’ll be releasing more reviews in the future, especially reviews concerning mice, but for now, this is the end of the review!
